Delete Your Account

We respect your right to control your data.

What gets deleted

Account deletion is permanent and immediate. The following data will be removed:

Your account profile (email, name, identity, preferences)
All alarm history, streaks, and progress data
Morning speeches and evening intentions
Analytics and engagement records
Community stories and interactions
Custom affirmations
Any subscription data

This cannot be undone. Your progress, streak data, and personalized content will be permanently lost. If you return to Mornist later, you will start from scratch.

How to delete your account

Option 1: In the app (recommended)

Fastest method — deletion is immediate.

Open Mornist and go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom navigation)

Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"

Type DELETE to confirm

Tap "Delete Account" — your account and all data are deleted immediately

Option 2: Email request

If you cannot access the app or prefer email.

Send an email to contact@mornist.app from the email address associated with your Mornist account with the subject line:

Account Deletion Request

We will process your request and delete your account within 48 hours. You will receive a confirmation email once complete.

Data retention

When you delete your account through the app, deletion is immediate — your data is removed from our servers right away.

For email-based requests, we process deletions within 48 hours. No data is retained after deletion except as required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes, if applicable).

Anonymized, aggregated analytics data that cannot be linked back to your identity may be retained for product improvement purposes.
